Russell Moccasin Co 'onieda' MADE IN USA

The Russell Oneida has been continuously produced since the early 1900's.the Oneida was purchased by the U.S. Army for the workers building airships. The smooth but tough molded leather outsoles were essential to prevent any tears in the fabric skin as the balloons were produced.

After more than 100 years, Russell Moc have found quite a few more uses for this utilitarian design. The heavyweight bullhide leather Molded Sole provides plenty of protection while maintaining excellent ground-feel.  It is for this reason that the Oneida makes a wonderful driving moccasin, and many bowhunters bring a pair for situations when silent stalking is necessary.  After a day in the field, it is the perfect shoe to wear around the camp or lodge. 

Made from water-resistant, full-grain Walnut Timberjack leather. Over time it will patina and darken to a beautiful deep brown.
